Green Maps Louisville is an initiative to provide collaborative sustainability mapping tools for sustainability for the Falls of the Ohio bioregion centered around Louisville Kentucky, USA.
Inspiration comes form many sources, but particularly www.greenmaps.org and Adena Institute.
We have renewed our affiliation with Greenmaps through Adena, which has in the past produced several kinds of mapping resources for local community participation and sustainability.
Our next project is to work with local Sustainable Neighborhoods groups in creating collaborative sustainability planning maps. www.sustainableneighborhoods.blogspot.com .
We also have other mapping projects underway in collaboration with several local/global initiatives for community mapping in Seattle, Scotland and elsewhere, and look forward to posting them here soon.
